Treatments and Procedures
Our physicians offer a comprehensive array of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and consultation including:
  • Birth control counseling
  • Gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopy (surgery using small incisions, leading to a shorter recovery time), hysterectomy and sterilization
  • Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds, including early testing for birth defects and 3D/4D imaging when indicated
  • Chorionic Villi Sampling – Early testing for birth defects
  • Amniocentesis – Testing for birth defects; testing to see if fetal lungs are ready for delivery
  • Sono-hysterograms – Specialized ultrasound for diagnosing problems inside the uterus
  • Office hysteroscopy – Fiber-optics used to see inside the uterus
  • LEEP procedures – Treatment for cervical dysplasia (‘pre-cancer’ of the cervix)
  • Essure tubal sterilization – ‘Tying the tubes’ without surgical incisions
  • Colposcopy – Evaluation of abnormal Pap smears
  • DEXA Scans – Assessment for osteoporosis
  • VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) - performed by our Certified Nurse Midwives
  • TOLAC (trial of labor after cesarean)
